Here are some pictures of my set up at Leesport Day 1, I sold some stuff for nana and my dad. My set up was at first exciting but we definately need to come up with a better idea on how to showcase them. They kind of hung anywhere we could fit them. My dad was already brainstorming and getting new ideas for my display for the next show which will be in Lebanon on May 5. Then we will be going back to Leesport for May 12!

I didn't get to post anything yesterday because I was SO busy getting ready for the craft show. Here are some ones that I already took to the craft show and some that are going tomorrow.....

I got this idea from etsy and came up with my own little twists but this is a photo frame made out of a window. I used twine and mini clothes pins to hang pictures on it. The bottom is a chalkboard so I could stencil something permanent on it or you can write whatever message you want in chalk. I think it came out cute! Who would ever think that vintage windows can look this good with just a little TLC?

Okay so change of plans! I signed up for the Leesport Farmers market Easter craft show. It's a 2 day event on March 24-25 from 9-3. I have made 32 chalkboards, 14 windows with wreaths, shutters, and only 1 fabric design. I have SO many more to make, when will I ever find the time!?!?! I also had a couple of orders from some of my friends on facebook which makes me feel even more confident that people actually like my things that I'm making. My worst fear is to not sell one thing! So here are some samples of what I did so far....

I just bought some stencils so I will be decorating the chalkboards with stencils. I got the live, laugh, love, and different primitive sayings. I think it will make the chalkboard come alive.

Day 1

Started a new blog today. I have all of my windows and craft supplies to get started! Just looking for some time  now....lol

For those of you who do not know me or my family, my fiance owns his own business as a window installer. We get roughly 20 windows a day in which really is 40 different panes. For years we have been throwing the windows in dumpsters not thinking twice until now! I have a dream!!!

I have always sold things, heck I bought my first car selling diapers on ebay! lol I have been inspired by Tim's grandmother at craft shows. I just know all the time and hard work she puts into her crafts and to have people look and admire what she does just warms your heart. I always wanted to do something in the craft field but I am not very artistic. I have been told by a couple of people that visited my home that I have great ideas for different things so I would like to put those ideas into these windows.

I plan to make chalkboards, mirrors, photo frames, wedding menus/seating charts, planters, tables, hutches, cabinets, and collages. Like I said this is Day 1, lets see where we go from here.

My first craft show is on May 5 in Lebanon.....I will post pictures as I get things done.
